The Santillana Group, Rotary Distrct 4400 and Fundación Ecuador signed an Interinstatutional Cooperation Agreement on June 8 th , 2010. The objective of this agreement was to carry out the Quality Model training program for directors, teachers, parents and employees of educational institutions sponsored by the Rotary District 4400.
This training was carried out with managers and teachers from the Los Lojas and Lebanese Syria (Hogar de Cristo) schools in the implementation phase (2010-2011).

Signed on March 31, 2010, this agreement responded to the need for joint public and private partnerships with higher education institutions and social organizations. The Interinstitutional Cooperation Agreement between the University Espiritu Santo, Nobis Consortium, and Fundación Ecuador created the University Business Society Committee – CUEES.
Its primary objective was to promote partnerships between public and private education and social sectors, to encourage development, research and innovation, through the design of strategies to improve competitiveness.
On June 16, 2010, the Municipality of Guayaquil, Casa Grande University and Fundación Ecuador, signed an agreement to incorporate the Casa Grande University as a strategic ally and active participant of the municipal distance education program “Aprendamos”.
The “Youth with Future” program was designed through interagency cooperation between Children’s International, Fundación Ecuador and other strategic allies. It was created to empower young graduates with limited economic resources from low-income districts with tools through human, technological and job placement training; give them an advantage in employment opportunities, entrepreneurship and college entrance.
This program was socialized by the following institutions: Municipality of Guayaquil,ECAPAG, SENESCYT, Movistar, Chamber of Industries of Guayaquil, Spanish Chamber of Commerce of Guayaquil, Multilateral Investment Fund (MIF-IDB), Ministry of Industry and Productivity (MIPRO) and Claro.
Fundación Ecuador partnered in August 2014 with the Municipality of Guayaquil and Children’s International. Operations began in the Francisco Jacome Cooperative in Guayaquil (Phelan Center). This program has received the following distinctions:
To date a total of 470 young people have benefited from this program.
The Association of Young Entrepreneurs (AJE) and Fundación Ecuador signed an agreement on July 24 th , 2014.
The International Children’s Foundation and Fundación Ecuador also signed an agreement as part of the development program for “Youth with Future” on July 30 th , 2014.
On August 8 th , 2014, at the Guayaquil City Hall, engineer Pedro Aguayo Cubillo, was given the “Vicente Rocafuerte” Award granted by the National Assembly of Ecuador for his outstanding career trajectory in education, economy and business.
The Digital Graduate program began in 2014 as an initiative of the Municipality of Guayaquil benefiting high school graduates from public and partially funded schools.
This program gives tablets to high school students as an incentive to fulfill and continue their education. 21,000 high school graduates benefited from the first installment of tablets March 27, 2014.
In September 2015, Fundación Ecuador signed an agreement with Duolingo Inc. combining efforts, promoting English as a 2 nd language in educational institutions associated with our programs in Ecuador. The founder of Duolingo Inc., Dr. Luis von Ahn, offered a free workshop to high school, college and university teachers in Ecuador.
About 500 teachers attended the workshop held September 12, 2015, in the auditorium of the Liceo Cristiano School facilities in Guayaquil.
